Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive, dynamic, and experienced Team Leader to oversee day-to-day operations within a manufacturing facility. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a passion for leadership, process optimization, and high-quality production standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, motivate, and manage a team of production employees to ensure efficient and high-quality manufacturing processes.

Oversee the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of plastic extrusion machinery.

Monitor production performance and identify opportunities for process improvements.

Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards at all times.

Maintain accurate records of production data, downtime, and maintenance activities.

Coordinate with other departments (quality control, maintenance, etc.) to ensure smooth operations.

Conduct regular team meetings to discuss performance, safety updates, and key objectives.

Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities for team members.

Address any operational issues promptly and work towards effective resolutions.

Ensure that production targets are met on time, while maintaining high standards of quality and safety

Hours of work

6AM 6PM / 3 On 3 Off Days (With the flexibility to work nights when required)

Requirements

Experience with in a Manufacturing environment.

Experience leading a Manufacturing / Production team, ensuring efficiency and quality standards are met.

Strong understanding of ISO 9001.

Experience troubleshooting defects and optimising processes.

Valid FLT license

Knowledge of health and safety regulations, 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles (Desirable)

Strong knowledge of injection moulding processes and machinery (Desirable)

. Must have the legal right to work in the UK
