Assembly Operative – Oldham
Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 08:00 – 17:00
- Friday: 08:00 – 14:00
Job Description :
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Assembly Operative to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Oldham
. This is a hands‑on role involving the assembly of aluminium light boxes
, working at a bench and using a variety of power tools to screw and fix metal components.
- Assembling aluminium light boxes to specification
- Working on a bench using hand and power tools (e.g. drills, screwdrivers)
- Reading and following technical drawings or instructions
- Ensuring quality standards are met throughout the process
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Previous experience in an assembly or production role
- Confident using power tools
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and punctual
- Early finish on Fridays
