We’re working with a well-established business specialising in manufacturing within the aerospace and defence industry. They are currently looking to add a Stores Person to their team; this Stores Person role offers the opportunity to join a well-established business on a long-term contract basis, as well as premium overtime rates.
Role and ResponsibilitiesAs a Stores Person your key responsibilities will include:
- Kitting
- Stock Taking
- Use of MRP systems
- Transporting of materials
- Manual handling
To be considered for this Store Person role, you will need:
- Experience in manufacturing and/or engineering.
- Knowledge of MRP systems.
- Desirable:
Forklift License This is an active, hands-on role involving regular movement around the workplace and the moving and handling of boxes throughout the day.
As the new Stores Person, you can expect:
- Rate: £13.00 per hour.
- Premium Rate Overtime Available up to £26.00 per hour.
- Shift Pattern:
Monday – Thursday 7:45 – 4:30, Friday – 7:45-12.45. - Long term rolling contracts and permanent positions are available.
