Role overview
We are looking for a highly organised and motivated Quality Assurance Coordinator to support the delivery of Children’s Social Care’s Quality Assurance Framework.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in strengthening the way we capture, coordinate and share learning from practice reviews, audits, feedback and performance activity. The post will support improved communication, better use of data, and the tracking of learning and improvement across Children’s Social Care and the Oldham Safeguarding Children Partnership.
The successful candidate will work closely with managers, practitioners and partners to help ensure that quality assurance activity is well coordinated, meaningful and focused on improving outcomes for children, young people and families.
Key responsibilitiesThe postholder will:
- Coordinate quality assurance activity, including practice reviews, thematic audits, feedback mechanisms and learning actions.
- Collate, organise and present information and data to support service improvement, management oversight and inspection readiness.
- Support effective communication of learning, key messages and development opportunities across the workforce.
- Help improve the quality and consistency of information recorded on systems such as Mosaic.
- Track and evidence the impact of learning, feedback and service improvement activity across Children’s Social Care.
- Build effective and constructive relationships with colleagues, managers and partner agencies to promote challenge, reflection, learning and continuous improvement.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Strong organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage information, actions and deadlines effectively.
- Experience of working with data, reports or performance information to support service improvement.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work with a range of colleagues, managers and partners.
