Salford, Chapel St Vimto Gardens. Salary: £37,440 - £41,600 per annum plus great benefits.

We’re looking for a skilled Store Manager to join our retail team. This full‑time role comes with a competitive salary and brilliant benefits package.

• Deliver the store purpose by guiding the commercial and community strategies.
• Lead the team and show them how to make shopping at Co‑op a fantastic experience, helping them grow and learn.
• Empower the team to deliver great service, personally promoting the Co‑op difference to customers and members.
• Build an inclusive culture where everyone can speak up and share their views.
• Develop the team through regular performance conversations to help them reach their potential.
• Ensure the store is safe, legal and operational.
• Manage and optimise the store’s commercial performance, recruit new team members and manage HR processes.

• Experience of guiding and developing a team and working in a busy, service‑focused environment.
• Excellent communication skills; ability to coach, motivate and inspire the team.
• Resilience and strong problem‑solving skills.
• The ability to understand and analyse commercial information.
• Willingness to roll up your sleeves and support the team with delivery of store activities.
