Window Fitter

A Bit About The Role
We are currently looking for experienced and reliable window fitters to join our growing team at Connolly Ltd. This role will support a window and door scheme based in and around the Oldham area, where we are delivering energy efficiency improvements to social housing properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in window and door fitting, with a focus on quality, safety, and working in occupied homes.

We operate within the Social Housing sector, delivering holistic housing services to local authorities and housing associations across West Yorkshire and the Northwest.

What you will be responsible for

• Installing windows and doors to a high standard in line with retrofit specifications
• Ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently, and with minimal disruption to residents
• Carrying out sealing, finishing, and adjustments as required
• Supporting the wider site team with general tasks where needed (e.g. minor joinery or finishing works)
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and tenant‑considerate working environment
• Following health and safety procedures and using appropriate PPE and tools
• Communicating effectively with site management and Resident Liaison Officers

What we would like from you

• Proven experience in window and door fitting, ideally within retrofit or social housing projects
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills and a respectful approach to working in occupied homes
• CSCS card (desirable)
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (desirable)
