Responsibilities
- To screen referrals and undertake the assessment of support needs for Service Users, Carers and Families. To develop/assist to develop Care & Support Plans for Service Users, including Self Directed Care through Individual Budgets.
- To undertake first line supervision and/or support of staff including checking the quality of work and assisting the Team Manager to allocate work and caseloads.
- To give advice and guidance to staff on casework both for service delivery and development of their own knowledge.
We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and motivated social worker to join our team to undertake the role of Senior Practitioner. You would be joining a team which includes a Social Care Lead, Senior Practitioner, Social Workers, Community Support Workers, and Administrators all working collaboratively to make a real difference in people's lives.

Qualifications- A Social Work degree or an equivalent recognised Social Work Qualification, e.g. DipSW
- Experience of supervising and motivating staff and ensuring work is completed to the required standard
- Knowledge and understanding of equality and diversity issues in delivering social work and strategies to promote equal opportunities
- Ability to contribute to strategic service delivery
