What You Will Do
  • Undertake timely and comprehensive assessments of children, young people, and families, identifying risks, needs, and appropriate interventions.
  • Manage a varied caseload while ensuring high‑quality, child‑centred social work practice.
  • Develop and implement effective plans to safeguard children and promote positive outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with multi‑agency partners, including education, health, police, and community services.
  • Prepare detailed assessments, reports, and records in line with statutory requirements and local procedures.
  • Provide advice, guidance, and support to families during periods of crisis and change.
  • Attend strategy meetings, case conferences, and court proceedings where required.
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with relevant legislation, policies, and safeguarding procedures.
