Salary: £42,839 - £47,181 per annum (Grade
8)

Hours: 36.66 per week

Based: Spindles. Free parking available on site.

• Deliver effective services that promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people at various stages of their journey.
• Manage cases across Short Breaks, Child in Need, Child Protection, PLO, Court, CLA, Transitions and Adoption services.
• Complete carers assessments and provide respite care packages.
• Facilitate mental capacity assessments, best‑interest meetings, Court of Protection and Inherent Jurisdiction applications.
• Support young people transitioning from children to adult services.

• Qualified social worker registered with Social Work England.
• Minimum of 3 years post‑qualifying experience.
• Experience in safeguarding children and looked‑after processes.
• Knowledge of or willingness to develop specialist skills in mental capacity, best‑interest, Court of Protection and Inherent Jurisdiction.
