Social Worker Referral and Assessment

Liquid Personnel has a fantastic opportunity for a Social Worker to join its clients Referral and Assessment Team in Oldham a well-supported and fast-paced environment where your work will have a real impact.

What will your responsibilities be

• Receive and screen referrals from professionals families or the public.
• Conduct initial assessments todeterminerisk levels and service eligibility.
• Make decisions on whether cases require further intervention under Section 17 (Child in Need) or Section 47 (Child Protection).
• Undertake home visits and interviews with children and families.
• Liaise with police schools health services and other agencies to gather information.
• Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for further action.
• Escalate cases to child protection teams when necessary.
• Maintainaccuraterecords and ensuretimelyresponses to referrals.

Qualifications & Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have

• Social Work England registration
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Hold a full UK driving licence
• Post-qualified experience
• Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
