Our Client, a Greater Manchester council is seeking an Adult’s Social Worker to join their Older People's Mental Health Team. Fantastic payrate of £37 per hour! Undertake statutory assessments and develop person-centred care and support plans for older adults with mental health needs. Manage a caseload of complex cases, including individuals experiencing dementia, depression, anxiety, and severe mental illness. Complete risk assessments and implement safeguarding interventions to protect vulnerable adults from abuse and neglect. Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including mental health professionals, health services, carers, and community organisations.

Apply relevant legislation, including the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and Mental Health Act, to support informed decision-making and protect individuals' rights. Provide support, advice, and advocacy to service users and their families, promoting independence, wellbeing, and social inclusion. Monitor and review care packages and interventions, ensuring outcomes are achieved and support remains appropriate to changing needs. Requirements of this role:
Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England. Must have minimum of 3 years post qualifying social work experience
