Experienced Part Time Packer

What you will be doing:

packing items, manual handling, using warehouse computer system, heavy lifting (max 25kgs), so a good level of physical fitness is essential. Must have at least 12 months’ packing experience and must be able to reach daily targets given by your supervisor.

A strong work history with long contracts in past positions is essential, demonstrating commitment and consistency. Must be able to read and follow instructions in English, have strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and be a team player. Experience in picking, packing, and IT knowledge (Office skills and use of warehousing software) required. Any warehouse vehicle machinery certificates or experience in driving LLOP/PPT/FLT is a plus.

Candidates should be willing to do overtime with short or same‑day notice according to business needs. Comfortable with walk picking, lifting heavy boxes (max 25kg), and willing to undertake training for vehicles and the warehouse computer system. The ideal candidate is hardworking, accurate, and willing to learn how to operate machinery as part of their development.

Rate of pay: £12.71 per hour.

Hours:

Monday – Friday. Afternoon shifts: part‑time hours 12 noon – 4 pm with availability to work additional hours at short notice after the original shift.
