Experienced FLT Counterbalance​/Bendi Driver

Thrive Oldham are recruiting for a FLT Counterbalance/Bendi Driver in the Oldham Area/OL1 on behalf of our well established client

• Assisting the stores team leader where required to manage stock and spares requirements
• Moving large stock with a counterbalance/bendi FLT
• Carrying out Line Feeding duties when needed
• Stock control
• Loading and unloading of deliveries
• Adhering to strict health and safety policies at all times
• Manual handling
• Operating the Counterbalance/bendi FLT trucks in and around the warehouse
• Basic picking and packing around the warehouse
• Adhering to strict health and safety policies and procedures
• Reporting any damages to the product
• Communicating effectively within the workplace
• Identifying and labelling pallets for dispatch
• Adhering to all health and safety rules and regulations.
• Ensure that the shopfloor is being kept tidy and organised
• Working with the dispatch supervisor to develop processes to complete the production schedule in a timely manner whilst assisting and supporting the dispatch and stores team leaders in their day-to-day tasks.

• Experience of working in a busy production warehouse/environment
• Valid external FLT counterbalance/bendi licence
• Confident and flexible nature in dealing with issues that arise.
• Excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
• Good concentration with good eyes for details
• PC Literate, experience of utilising Microsoft Office packages.

What you will receive in return:

Immediate start after successful interview

Monday to Thursday 7am - 4pm

Friday 7am - 12pm

£12.71 per hour /temporary, ongoing
