Warehouse Operative
AM2PM are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our client in the OL2 area. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring goods are received, stored, picked, packed, and dispatched efficiently while maintaining a safe and organised working environment.
Job Details:
Shifts:
4 on 4 off. 13:30pm to 01:00am
Pay rate: £13.45 per hour between 13:30pm
-22:00pm, £16.90 per hour between 22:00pm - 01:00am
Requirements of a Warehouse Operative:
Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential.
Good attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to carry out heavy lifting and manual handling duties throughout the working day.
Good understanding of health and safety practices.
Duties of a Warehouse Operative:
Receiving, unloading, and checking incoming deliveries.
Picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for dispatch.
Loading and unloading vehicles safely.
Moving stock around the warehouse using manual handling techniques or warehouse equipment where authorised.
Carrying out regular stock checks and reporting discrepancies.
Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy, and organised.
Following health and safety procedures at all times.
Working as part of a team to meet daily productivity targets.
