Are you an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking for a rewarding role in a primary school? We are seeking a dedicated professional to join a supportive team and make a real difference in the lives of children with additional needs. In this role you will be supporting a variety of year groups.

Job Responsibilities
As an HLTA, you will:
* Deliver planned lessons and interventions under the guidance of the class teacher.
* Lead small group and one-to-one sessions to support learning and development.
* Cover whole classes during teacher absence.
* Adapt resources and activities to meet individual pupil needs.
* Implement behaviour management strategies and promote positive behaviour.
* Assist with personal care and emotional regulation where required.
* Monitor and record pupil progress, feeding back to teachers and SENCO.
* Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
* Contribute to the preparation of classroom materials and displays.
* Ensure safeguarding and health & safety policies are followed at all times.

Requirements
* HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
* Previous experience working with children or vulnerable adults with complex needs.
* Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
* Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
* Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
* Employment references covering the last 24 months
* An enhanced DBS on the Update service (or willingness to obtain one)
* Safeguarding training
