Treasury Operations Analyst

The Treasury Operations Analyst supports the day-to-day functions of the treasury department with a strong focus on cash application activities. This role is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely posting of cash transactions, maintaining cash flow visibility, and supporting internal controls related to banking, reconciliations, and risk management. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, experience in high-volume cash environments, and a collaborative mindset to work across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and reconcile daily cash receipts, ensuring accurate posting to customer accounts and the general ledger.
• Monitor and resolve issues related to cash discrepancies, unapplied payments, chargebacks, returned checks, and ACH or wire payment failures.
• Partner with the Accounts Receivable team to research and resolve unidentified or misapplied payments.
• Assist in managing banking portals, including user access, transaction tracking, and reporting.
• Support the daily and monthly cash positioning and cash flow forecasting process.
• Prepare journal entries and ensure proper documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
• Reconcile bank accounts and assist with monthly close and reporting activities.
• Collaborate with retail locations and internal departments to resolve payment and reconciliation issues efficiently.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to streamline treasury and cash application workflows.
• Maintain accurate documentation of treasury and cash application procedures.
• Assist with compliance efforts, including fraud monitoring, positive pay review, and internal control adherence.
• Support ad hoc treasury projects and reporting requests as needed.
