• Client service
• Answer phone calls
• Take accurate messages and book appointments
• Maintain charts and computer records
• Pharmacy and retail sales
• Marketing implementation
• Maintenance/ housekeeping
• Financial responsibilities

• Excellent client service skills
• Excellent phone skills
• Computer skill preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in a team oriented environment
• Organized and detail oriented, ability to take direction, ability to handle money accurately and honestly
• Sound decision making skills and multi-tasking in a stressful environment

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must have experience working in the public (e.g., restaurant, retail or service business)
• Experience in a veterinary hospital is required
• Experience in a multi-specialty veterinary hospital is preferred
• Dependable attendance is required
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds
• Ability to walk, bend, squat, stand or reach constantly during a minimum 8-hour day

• A 5/8 work week (Monday through Friday) with the possibility of a 4/10 work week
