What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns observed during patrols around the location.
• Assist with access control, verifying credentials and/or identification as required by site policies.
• Support emergency response activities as needed, including assisting with evacuations or other site-specific protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or observations as required by Allied Universal and the location.
• Communicate professionally with property management, tenants, and visitors to provide assistance and information as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
