This mid-size hospital operates as part of a large health system and provides dedicated radiation oncology services within a structured outpatient clinic environment. The facility utilizes EPIC EMR alongside Mosaiq and Eclipse treatment planning systems, with the entire clinic reported as updated. Established clinical protocols and appropriate on-site resources are in place to support coordinated oncology patient management throughout the coverage period.

The assignment area is situated near the Allegheny River and surrounded by the forested hills of the Appalachian region, offering access to a range of outdoor activities including hiking, fishing, camping, and boating. Nearby attractions include Allegany State Park, Rock City Park - known for its geological formations approximately 5 miles away - Gargoyle Park, the Cutco-Ka-Bar Visitors Center, and the Allegheny River Valley Trail.

The area also features dining and entertainment options, including a venue offering bowling, miniature golf, sand volleyball, and an arcade. The region transitions to winter outdoor recreation seasonally and is approximately 1.5 hours from Buffalo.

The radiation oncologist will provide clinic-based outpatient radiation oncology services Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no call requirements and no inpatient responsibilities. Clinical responsibilities include managing 18-22 patients per day utilizing IGRT and IMRT modalities, with all patient documentation to be completed through EPIC EMR; treatment planning is coordinated through Mosaiq and Eclipse. The clinician will collaborate with on-site support staff, including another locums clinician, a physicist, and a dosimetrist, throughout the coverage period.

Board certification in Radiation Oncology, prescriptive authority, and an active state medical license are required; hospital credentialing is anticipated within 30-60 days, and the clinician may begin prior to completion of the peer evaluation.
