Commercial Construction Crew Member (Construction)
Job Title: Commercial Construction Crew Member
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Reports To: GM Construction Operations
Position Summary: The commercial construction crew members will work with a team to create beautiful landscape projects every day. Your main duty will be general construction tasks assigned by the supervisor or assistant operations manager.
Job Responsibilities:
- Install plants, landscape lighting, and hardscape features.
- Grade and prepare topsoil, stone, mulch, and other landscape materials.
- Load and unload plants and trees.
- Dig and install irrigation.
- Install pavers, walkways, steps, retaining walls, and block walls.
- Operate power equipment such as tractors, chainsaws, sod cutters, bobcats, etc.
- Operate tools including rakes, shovels, saws, axes, and shears.
- Work carefully on projects to provide the best quality to customers.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education or Training
Required:

Minimum Experience
Required:
1+ years landscape installation experience.

Physical Demands and
Working Conditions:
The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, bend, squat, kneel, reach above the head, lift or push up to 75 lbs, and work outside in all weather conditions. Walking significant distances on uneven ground is common. The employee must have adequate vision, hearing, and the ability to handle stress in operations that may be moderate to loud.
