Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

Assess and set up production infrastructure and process flow.

Manage NPI introduction process and production documentation, including WO BOM validation, shop floor control system routing, production flow diagrams, work instructions, and pack-out instructions.

Calculate task time and workforce requirements.

Manage Change Orders, including assessment, documentation, communication, and coordination of ECN/Cut-in processes, and control of related documentation.

Update work instructions accordingly.

Provide production training on NPI, KPIs, and ECNs.

Report project status to internal managers and customers as applicable.

Collaborate with production managers to ensure process adherence and continuous improvement.

Conduct risk assessments to enhance facility efficiency and safety standards.

Review safety and quality standards to ensure compliance.

Handle complex problem analysis, data evaluation, and cross-functional communication.

Guide project completion and set technical strategies.

Job Specifications:

Education and

Work Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Minimum 5 years in process engineering with a strong manufacturing background. Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Proficiency in MS Office, physical ability to work around industrial equipment, analytical and problem-solving skills, knowledge of manufacturing systems, effective time management, and root cause analysis skills.

Job Complexity and Supervision: Capable of managing multiple projects, working independently, with attention to detail, in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions: Fast-paced environment, some areas may require ear protection due to noise.

Physical Demands: Extensive computer use, occasional lifting up to 50 lbs, extended sitting, walking, standing, and activities like bending.

Additional Comments: Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, with potential for longer shifts and weekend work.
