Assistant Director of Assessment & Referral
Full‑time, Monday through Friday, 3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
Under the direction of the Director of Assessment and Referral, the Assistant Director of Assessment and Referral assures smooth and orderly admissions into the hospital. The role includes receiving incoming admission inquiry calls, assessing patients for admission, and making appropriate referrals. The Assistant Director also participates in staff evaluation, shift leadership, and provides task assignment and accountability necessary to complete all admissions‑related duties for their shift.

- Make appropriate referrals
- Participate in staff evaluation and shift leadership
- Assign tasks and ensure accountability for admissions duties
- Master’s Degree in Psychology, Sociology, or a related field
- At least 2 years of clinical experience in a psychiatric setting
- Prior management experience preferred
- LCSW, LMSW, or LPC preferred; CPR Certification required
- Knowledge of recruitment, selection, benefits, employment law, worker’s compensation, compensation, and employee relations
- Advanced computer skills required
