Overview
Oracle Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP) – Functional Consultant
The Oracle ASCP Functional Consultant is responsible for leading the design, configuration, implementation, and support of Oracle Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP) modules within Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS). The role involves working closely with business stakeholders to understand supply chain planning needs and translating them into effective Oracle ASCP solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Lead functional design and configuration of Oracle ASCP modules.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze supply chain planning requirements.
- Develop functional specifications and coordinate with technical teams for customizations and integrations.
- Support ASCP planning cycles, troubleshoot issues, and optimize planning parameters.
- Conduct gap analysis and recommend process improvements.
- Provide end-user training and create documentation.
- Participate in testing activities including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Ensure solutions align with Oracle best practices and compliance standards.
Skills & Qualifications
- 8+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle ASCP in EBS R12.2.4 or newer.
- Strong understanding of supply chain planning processes: MRP, DRP, S&OP, forecasting.
- Experience with Oracle modules:
Inventory, BOM, WIP, Purchasing, Order Management. - Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and troubleshooting.
- Ability to write and interpret functional specifications.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in cross-functional and global teams.
- Oracle certifications in Supply Chain or ASCP.
- Experience with Agile or other project management methodologies.
- Familiarity with integration tools and middleware (e.g., Oracle SOA, ODI).
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
