Job OverviewFairstead is hiring a Service Manager to supervise and manage the repair and maintenance of property buildings. The Service Manager will ensure timely installation of mechanical equipment, oversee operational efficiency of all electrical equipment and mechanical systems, and maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of property premises in alignment with Fairstead safety policies and standards.
Responsibilities- Supervise other maintenance employees.
- Take a leadership position on special projects.
- Perform a variety of skilled maintenance and repair tasks.
- Apply strong knowledge of accident and safety precautions.
- Work independently on routine projects and receive assistance for more complex projects.
- Occasionally work overtime for special projects or emergencies.
- Three (3) years experience in property maintenance.
- Proficient in a specific trade with general maintenance and repair skills.
- Knowledge of tools, techniques, and terminology of building and mechanical trades.
- Strong knowledge of accident and safety precautions.
- Ability to implement and improve policies and procedures.
- Great organization and project management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of Yardi Software is a plus.
