Responsibilities:

Coordinate and direct operations to meet department needs, quality, and safety objectives.

Assign employees to machines or tables based on production schedules, plan rotations, and adjust for absences.

Review production metrics and develop actions to improve operational performance.

Follow daily production plans and ensure documentation and computer entries are accurate and timely.

Provide team members with instruction on proper techniques and procedures.

Conduct follow-up checks and provide feedback on team performance.

Encourage workforce participation to enhance awareness and cooperation.

Ensure operations follow company policies and government regulations.

Handle supervisory responsibilities, including training, performance evaluation, and disciplinary actions.

Hold employees accountable to expectations and procedures.

Investigate production, safety, or quality issues as they arise.

Collaborate with other departments to maintain workflow and resource efficiency.

Ensure product quality and compliance with standards, recognizing defects or errors.

Support Lean initiatives and drive root cause analysis.

Required

Education and Experience:

Associates degree or higher preferred in a related field.
Experience with Microsoft Office and MRP/ERP systems preferred.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing supervisory role or equivalent.
Frontline leadership or supervisory experience in an industrial setting.
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Ability to accurately record data and interpret instructions in various formats.
