Baler Forklift Operator – Ardagh Metal Packaging

The Baler ITO is responsible for maintaining and driving forklifts, moving product, equipment, or materials in the warehouse and in and out of trucks.

• Drive industrial truck with lifting device to move products to/from trucks and store areas.
• Unload and stack material by raising/lowering the lifting device.
• Inventory materials on the work floor and supply workers as needed.
• Weigh materials or products and record weight in the computer system, label, or production schedule.
• Load or unload materials onto or off pallets, skids, or lifting device.
• Lubricate truck, recharge batteries, or replace liquefied gas tank.
• Unload and re-stack cardboard onto other pallets; may include top frames.
• Perform housekeeping activities in the warehouse using broom and occasional duster.
• Inspect chucks under trailer wheels and inspect chipboard and sort.
• Operate automated baler system.
• Handle and dump scrap or spoilage at baler.
• Communicate issues with incoming product immediately and follow up.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Detail oriented.
• Familiar with Personal Protective Equipment.
• Prior experience in a fast‑paced manufacturing facility.

• Exposure to heat, cold, vibrations, and loud noise.
• Frequent bending, twisting, reaching, sitting, standing, walking, and use of foot pedals.
• Willing and able to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and night shifts.
