Position Summary

The Quality Assurance Inspector is responsible for quality compliance for FSG contracts. The QA Inspector oversees inbound product sortation and inspection, evaluates item kind, count, condition, and associated vendor compliance documentation. The inspector performs in‑process and final inspection for FSG contract shipments, works with Noble's Quality Manager to create, implement, and track quality processes and metrics, and ensures Noble meets or exceeds customer and contract quality objectives while providing defect‑free products.

Essential Functions
  • Represents Quality function for both the Olive Branch and Holly Springs Distribution Centers; spends 3 days per week at Holly Springs and 2 days at Olive Branch to provide interpretation of quality requirements for all fulfillment and kitting orders.
  • Integrates contractual and Noble QMS requirements into all aspects of quality program processes and documentation.
  • Develops and monitors quality metrics to ensure compliance with contractual, company, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitors and inspects all incoming deliveries to ensure quality of items, compliance, quality certifications, and order accuracy.
  • Assists with sortation and initial verification for identification and damage on incoming and outgoing receivers/shippers, and processes Quality‑related receiving/shipping documentation.
  • Inspects, verifies, and documents commodity compliance to vendor engineering drawings, specifications, configuration control, and certifications; develops and retains inspection records and product certifications.
  • Reviews vendor certification documentation to ensure AS9100 and Noble's Quality Program traceability requirements are met.
  • Performs First Article and Random Sampling Inspection as needed.
  • Completes Non Conformance Reports (NCR) for defective products and materials.
  • Assists QA Leadership in physical control and sequestration of non‑conforming products and materials.
  • Communicates and escalates quality problems to Noble's QA, Procurement Leadership, and fellow QC inspectors as needed.
  • Inspects outgoing FSG shipments for product quality approvals and item accuracy before shipment.
  • Assists Material Review Board representatives with customer Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCA) activities, including analysis, corrective action plan implementation, and verification audits to ensure effectiveness.
  • Performs benchmarking and other forms of analysis to ensure specified process capability levels are achieved.
  • Promotes product quality, workspace cleanliness, and organization best practices for areas of responsibility.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Position Qualifications
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced warehouse environment.

Education and Experience
  • High School/GED, Associate, or an equivalent combination of formal education, on‑the‑job training, and/or work experience.
  • 6–8 years of related work experience.
  • Knowledge and experience of ISO‑9100‑2015, AS‑9100, and AS‑9120 quality standards.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, technical procedures, specifications, Mil‑Specs, standards, and other engineering and manufacturing documents.
  • Knowledge of aerospace/aviation.
