Role Description
We are currently seeking a seasoned corrugated sales professional to execute sales strategy in the Memphis, TN, and surrounding areas as an outside sales representative for a well-known, reputable corrugated packaging company. This position is based in our Olive Branch, MS facility.
Position Responsibilities
- Present and sell company products and services to current and potential customers and prospects.
- Identify and resolve client concerns.
- Prepare plans and schedules to identify targets and make contacts with decision makers.
- Follow up on new leads and referrals from field activity, leading to account closings.
- Prepare presentations, proposals, and sales contacts for clients.
- Develop and maintain sales materials and product knowledge.
- Participate in marketing events such as trade shows, seminars, and telemarketing events.
- Follow up for collection of payment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- Self-disciplined and independent with a desire to work in Olive Branch and surrounding areas.
- Ability to travel within the multi-state area and stay overnight if required.
- Ability to make cold calls and find leads fitting the plants.
- Adequate computer and phone skills, along with excellent verbal communication and listening skills.
- Maintain a professional appearance and provide a positive company image.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle report.
- Experience in selling corrugated packaging products.
Compensation & Benefits
Payment depends on experience. Benefits include BCBS medical/pharmacy plan, 401k, Disability, Life/AD&D, Dental/Vision plans, Paid Vacation, and more.
