Job Description:

As a Security Officer – Chemical Patrol in Olive Branch, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor assigned areas and conduct regular patrols to help to deter security-related incidents. Your visible presence and proactive approach will support a secure environment while you deliver exceptional customer service.

Mon 01:30 PM – 10:00 PM
Tue 01:30 PM – 10:00 PM
Wed 01:30 PM – 10:00 PM
Thur 01:30 PM – 10:00 PM

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site‑specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, following site‑specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the business premises and perimeter of the chemical or petrochemical site to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Observe and report security‑related incidents, hazards, and/or unusual occurrences at the location.
• Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas.
• Communicate with Allied Universal management, site personnel, and local authorities as necessary in the event of incidents or emergencies.
• Maintain detailed and accurate written reports and logs of all patrols, observations, and incidents encountered during the shift.

• At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
