As a Screener in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment by screening visitors and personnel, monitoring access points, and responding to security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service while supporting site operations through clear communication and professionalism.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.

+ Screen employees, visitors, contractors, deliveries, and belongings in accordance with site access requirements and established screening procedures.

+ Verify identification, visitor authorization, and access credentials; maintain accurate visitor and screening-related records.

+ Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; promptly report observations through established channels.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entrances, loading areas, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Access control and badge experience is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.

+ X-ray screening experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
