Parkwood Behavioral Health System, a UHS facility, provides behavioral health and chemical dependence services in the Mid‑South region. Established in 1987, it is located in Desoto County, Mississippi, just south of Memphis.
ResponsibilitiesThe Patient Transportation Driver transports patients to and from outpatient treatment and other medical appointments safely and professionally.
Duties include:
- Providing reliable vehicle service for patients.
- Communicating with dispatchers.
- Performing pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections.
- Operating GPS devices and cell phones for routing.
- Adhering to all safety and health protocols.
- Performing additional duties as assigned.

Education
Prefer high school diploma or equivalent.
Experience
Minimum 1 year of driving experience; preference for experience in a school, hospital, or hospitality setting.
Licensure / Certification
Valid Mississippi or Tennessee driver’s license with F endorsement or a commercial driver’s license.
Knowledge
Preference for knowledge of Mississippi/Tennessee traffic safety laws.
