The General Warehouse Associate is responsible for picking, scanning, labeling, moving, staging, replenishing, and stacking product. This individual is also responsible for counting and inspecting product and notifying leadership when there are damages or discrepancies. These Associates are accountable for the safe and efficient operation of all equipment and will be expected to perform all duties as assigned.
As part of the DSV team, Associates are expected to meet company objectives in the areas of performance, safety, and quality. Associates are expected to comply with all corporate and site‑specific policies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Picking:
Accurately pick orders using a pallet jack, stage, package, band, shrink‑wrap and label products as determined by client requirements. Process picking functions as defined by the Standard Operating Procedures. - Quality Control:
Verify that products and orders meet quality standards, reporting any damages or discrepancies. Stack, package, shrink‑wrap, and label products. Process quality control functions as defined by the SOP. - Safety, Housekeeping, and Compliance:
Execute all safety protocols, maintain a clean and orderly work area, comply with SOPs, corporate and site‑specific safety rules, and OSHA/SDS Standards. - Equipment Operation:
Operate pallet jack and other equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain equipment and report problems. - Maintenance:
Assist in building, grounds, and equipment maintenance as assigned. - Other Duties:
Perform overtime as dictated by business, and other duties as assigned.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED). - Work Environment:
Ability to work in warehouse temperatures that vary from mild to moderate. - Skills:
Basic math to verify quantities, strong attention to detail and accuracy, ability to work with minimal supervision, adapt to a fast‑paced environment.
- Minimum 6 months experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment.
- Current or prior MHE certification.
- Handling/fingering, sitting (occasionally), bending (frequently), walking and standing (constantly).
- Lifting 21–50 pounds; reach above shoulder, reach outward, squat, or kneel.
No significant exposure to fumes or airborne particles. Noise level low to moderate.
