Lead Teacher

Overview

Lead Teacher role at Premier Early Childhood Education Partners supports pre‑K and preschool children in a licensed childcare center. The position is full‑time, Monday‑Friday, 8:30‑5:00 or 9:00‑6:00, with compensation based on education and experience.

$14.00/hr – $19.00/hr

• Prepare developmentally appropriate lesson plans one week in advance using current curriculum guides.
• Implement weekly curriculum covering all child development areas and maintain a consistent classroom routine.
• Use parent‑communication app efficiently to keep families informed.
• Build professional rapport with each family to provide quality care.
• Ensure child safety and well‑being, responding to emotional needs and maintaining a clean, organized classroom.
• Maintain a child assessment portfolio and conduct parent/teacher conferences biannually.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and work around small children.
• Carry out daily classroom responsibilities related to child care.

• High school diploma or GED, CDA or higher.
• Previous childcare experience is a plus.
• Ability to pass all background checks.
• Full‑time availability for the required shift.
