• Follow the services outlined in each resident’s service plan in a friendly, respectful and supportive manner.
• Document any observed change of condition in accordance with applicable laws and company policies.
• Comply with the Continuous Quality Improvement Program and take steps to ensure that services delivered are complete and designed for each resident.
• Report identified issues that do not support quality services to the immediate supervisor for correction.
• Understand and follow all company policies and all local, state, and federal rules and regulations as they apply to services delivered for all residents, including updates and amendments to those rules, regulations and policies.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and Blood Borne Pathogen Guidelines regarding resident care and documentation.
• Work in a safe manner in conjunction with other employees and report any unsafe actions immediately to supervisor, ensuring such actions are corrected.
• Comply with Safety Committee Standards.
• Foster teamwork with co‑workers, take actions which assist others beyond job responsibilities, and have a positive impact on co‑workers, residents, and visitors.
• Communicate between Personal Care Assistants on resident needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned or needed.
