Grow here. “Are you ready to join a team of talented engineers and shape the future of the Nuclear Industry?” Joining our established and expanding Nuclear team as a Civil Engineer means contributing to a diverse and growing portfolio of both international and UK-based projects.
This role offers the opportunity to work across a wide range of multi-disciplinary projects at various stages of the project lifecycle, from client consultancy support through to complete turn-key solutions.
As part of our strong multi-disciplinary engineering team, you will provide Civil Engineering input across our portfolio of nuclear projects, supporting a variety of public and private sector clients both in the UK and overseas. You will be involved in delivering practical and effective design solutions within regulated and quality-assured environments, ensuring work is completed in line with AECOM’s standards for quality, safety, and environmental care.
We are looking for individuals who can apply their technical skills both independently and collaboratively to deliver successful project outcomes for our clients. Experience working within a regulated and quality-assured system, preferably within the nuclear industry, is highly desirable, along with strong design judgement and a practical approach to problem-solving.
This is an exciting time for the Nuclear Team, with an expanding pipeline of high-profile and technically challenging projects across the UK and internationally.
Here’s what you’ll do:
Deliver Nuclear design work on projects for a range of public and private sector clients within the UK and overseas.
Prepare detailed technical civil engineering designs.
Work with integrated multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-profile projects.
Support the delivery of projects to meet programme, quality, and client expectations.
Assist and mentor graduate team members to promote their technical and professional development.
