DC Metro Region – General Hematologist Oncologist

Med Star Health is seeking a general Hematology/Oncology Physician to be part of our one‑location opportunity at Med Star Montgomery Medical Center, 18105 Prince Philip Dr., Olney, MD 20832. The center is CoC accredited with its own general and tumor boards and is an affiliate of Med Star Georgetown Cancer Institute, giving you access to all Georgetown tumor boards.

The dynamic candidate will be given an opportunity to practice in a major community affiliate of an NCI designated comprehensive cancer center. The practice at Med Star Montgomery will focus on bread‑and‑butter hematology/oncology, treating a wide variety of cancers and providing opportunities to grow programs in cancer survivorship, tobacco cessation and lung cancer screening. Onsite services include, but are not limited to, radiation oncology, imaging (including PET), breast center, oncology nurse navigator, oncology social services, APP support, nutritionist, palliative team, oncology pharmacy and research coordination.

The practice also has access to the clinical trial portfolio of Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center.
