CNA in Olney

We are seeking a dependable part-time caregiver for Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The role includes assisting an individual with right-side paralysis, lifting, safe transfers, helping them in and out of the house, and accompanying them to doctor appointments. The caregiver must be able to drive as far as the District of Columbia area. Applicants should have at least three years of caregiving experience and strong transfer skills.

• Will need current CPR and First Aid Certification
• Current CNA license
• Must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have good oral and written communication skills
• Must be able to understand care plans and assessments
• Must have current doctor’s medical health clearance to work, which includes a negative TB Test

• Personal Care (bathing, dressing, and transfers)
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping
• Monitor and report physical and behavioral changes
• Assist with medication reminders
• Engage the client in conversation and activities
