• Perform daily duties in assigned areas, including cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms, resident homes, medical equipment, and other common areas.
• Apply healthcare cleaning and disinfection principles, safe chemical use, equipment handling, and labor‑saving products.
• Adhere to organization safety, risk management, and infection control guidelines and promote a culture of safety.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient experience and cleanliness metrics.
• Maintain cleaning carts, supplies, and equipment; properly stock and organize the environmental services cart.
• Remove waste and transport it to the proper disposal area, identifying correct waste streams (regulated medical, recycle, solid, hazardous).
• Follow infection prevention practices, including cleaning and disinfection protocols, hand hygiene, standard & isolation precautions, and proper donning and doffing of PPE.
• Recognize and adhere to patient privacy requirements (HIPAA).

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Demonstrate effective use of computers and/or mobile devices for daily job performance activities.

Salary: $18 per hour. Part‑time – Every other Saturday and Sunday, 7 AM to 3:30 PM.
