Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

The ICU is part of a 120‑bed full‑service ANCC Magnet‑recognized facility located in Olney, Maryland, roughly midway between Washington, D.C. and Baltimore, Maryland.

Key Details

• Positions Available:
  Full‑time, 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. (12‑hour day or night shifts, non‑rotating, self‑scheduling)
• Average patient‑to‑nurse ratio 2:1 with a dedicated charge nurse on each shift
• Pay range: USD $36.00 – $54.97 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs—from routine to highly complex.
• Assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans.
• Deliver interventions directly or coordinate them through collaboration with other members of the nursing team.

Qualifications

• ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Prior ICU experience required.
• Active MD RN License or active Compact State RN license and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers (AHA or American Red Cross).
