Zu den Hauptaufgaben gehört das Unterhalten der Kantonsstrassen, das Reinigen mit einer Wischmaschine sowie allgemeine Unterhaltsarbeiten. Ideale Kandidaten haben eine Berufsausbildung im Strassentransport und verfügen über Führerausweise der Kategorien C und CE.
