Senior Superintendent – Multifamily Construction

$160000 - $180000 per year | Olympia, WA | On-site | Permanent

We’re a growing construction team focused on delivering multifamily communities

• Long-term opportunity with a growing team and projects planned in the South Puget Sound area.
• Opportunity to lead and develop a team while taking ownership of the construction process.

• Lead the overall construction process, including scheduling, resource allocation, cost management, safety, and quality.
• Manage daily field operations and coordinate subcontractors, trades, and onsite staff.
• Create and maintain the three-week look-ahead schedule.
• Lead subcontractor preconstruction meetings and weekly foremen’s meetings.
• Oversee site improvements, including civil work and wet and dry utilities.
• Maintain daily reports and photographic documentation.
• Submit RFIs and work with the design team to resolve field issues.
• Manage project closeout, including punch list completion and documentation.
• Mentor and develop assistant superintendents, foremen, and other team members.
• Work closely with the Project Manager and communicate project progress to construction leadership.

• Superintendent experience leading multifamily construction projects; garden-style experience is preferred.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to develop people, manage trades, and keep projects moving.
• Solid understanding of civil construction, including dirt work, excavation, grading, staking, surveying, and layout.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
• Experience managing schedules, budgets, jobsite safety, and quality.
• Proficiency with MS Project, Procore, Bluebeam, and Buildertrend
