This role serves as a Transportation Technical Engineer (TTE) in WSDOT's Development Division, responsible for developing and implementing design policy, guidance, and procedures focused on geometrics, roundabout design, and multimodal solutions. You will act as the subject matter expert in highway design, providing oversight, project support, and training to ensure designers apply policy effectively and develop solutions that meet transportation needs.
The role advances WSDOT’s strategic initiatives and promotes the integration of state-of-the-art practices through policy development and project outreach.
We are looking for a strong candidate with expertise in highway and multimodal design, policy development, effective project support and training, and the ability to implement innovative, practical solutions that align with agency goals.
