Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Speech Pathology, Speech Audiology, Communications Disorders, or similar program.
• Speech-Language Pathologist Certification
• Washington State Educational Staff Associate Certification (ESA) with appropriate endorsement
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff

Job Description:

Caseload and classroom details will vary based on school location. Recruitment specialists can discuss specifics upon application to connect you with a classroom that best suits your experience and skillset.

This is a contract position through the 2025/2026 school year, offering 35 to 40 hours per week, following the academic district calendar.

Position Overview: Provide speech and language therapy services to help students improve communication and learning skills.

Essential Functions:

• Identify students needing specialized speech or language services and provide tailored solutions for academic success.
• Conduct individual and group therapy using curriculum-based materials and provide progress reports.
• Supervise support staff, consult with educators, and provide alternative communication systems.
• Create engaging learning environments and promote social, physical, and intellectual growth.
• Explore individual learning needs, develop personalized solutions, and implement curriculum goals.
• Model mature behavior, uphold values, and encourage character development.

Salary: $2,400-$2,600 per week
