What We’re Looking for:

We are seeking a Vendor Success Lead (VSL) to join our Payer Retrieval HIH Team. The ideal candidate will bring knowledge of the payer industry, demonstrate strong problem‑solving and execution skills, and build trust and rapport with internal and external stakeholders.

What You Will Do:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for multiple vendor relationships, facilitating meetings and analyzing inventory.
  • Analyze dashboard and inventory variables across the portfolio to forecast, prioritize inventory and communicate risks, and develop strategy to meet client goals.
  • Work cross‑functionally with internal teams and vendors to execute operating plans through diverse chart retrieval methods, escalating process inefficiencies for prompt resolution.
  • Create, manage and distribute reports related to each of the projects assigned, providing a real‑time, comprehensive, and prioritized view of all projects in scope.
  • Routinely perform complete analysis of individual projects and serve as a subject‑matter expert, sometimes at a very granular level.
  • Provide full oversight to risk adjustment and quality‑related projects that have significant impact to health insurance clients, including risk adjustment analytics, medical records retrieval and chart review coding projects.
  • Partner with key stakeholders, primarily account managers and operations, to understand project progress, expected project success, and data trends within each project.
  • Understand and analyse project data to identify trends related to project goals and act accordingly within the organization.
  • Provide project support including facilitation, tracking and reporting on projects, and client deliverables.
  • Track and report on vendor performance, clearly communicating project metrics, expectations, trends and expected outcomes. Deliver weekly escalations to department leadership, providing them with insightful updates and actionable insights.
  • Support the creation and improvement of processes, procedures, and tools.
  • Spearhead dedicated Vendor Analysis and elevate client‑facing support for our top HIH vendors, ensuring unparalleled service delivery and satisfaction.
  • Proactively orchestrate daily initiatives to optimise chart retrieval processes and consistently meet and exceed targets, fostering operational excellence.
  • Lead the charge in implementing robust weekly, bi‑weekly, and monthly payment reconciliation procedures between vendors, HIH Operations, Accounts Payable, and Finance teams, guaranteeing seamless financial operations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and present dynamic dashboards showcasing the effectiveness of HIH operations, empowering stakeholders with actionable insights for continuous improvement.
What You Need to Succeed:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Business Analytics, Economics or a related field (preferred).
  • 2–5 years’ experience in Healthcare Technology, Medical Records or Health Information. Prior experience in account management or operations for a healthcare services company or health plan is preferred.
  • Understanding of Risk Adjustment and Healthcare/Health IT industry experience.
  • Knowledge of project management principles and frameworks from an account‑support perspective.
  • Demonstrated competency in problem solving, decision making and executing against goals and deadlines.
  • Ability to quickly establish rapport, credibility, trust and respect throughout the organization and with clients.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to effectively and persuasively present data.
