Job Overview
All Sites:
Reception and telephone duties; proficient operation of laboratory equipment including HIS/LIS systems; specimen handling – receiving, processing, prep, and shipping of lab specimens to reference laboratories; specimen/patient registration; phlebotomy – collection of blood samples by venipuncture or capillary stick; therapeutic blood collection; swab collection of specific microbiology samples (per competency); assignment to OP Lab locations; training new staff as assigned.

Requirements- Upon hire:
Washington Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification. - 6 months of direct experience as a phlebotomist and/or completion of a Phlebotomy program.
- Coursework or training in Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy approved by WA State. Benefits
