SLP Security Clearance

Position: SLP with Security Clearance
Our client is currently seeking a SLP around the Olympia, WA area! Position Details
* Part‑time (two days per week)

* Caseload: 34 students

* Assignment Dates: 01/05/26 - 06/18/26

* Schedule:

8:00 a.m.

- 3:00 p.m.

* Lunch: 30 minutes

* Classification: SLP / SLPA

* Level: Elementary School

* Contract Length: 24 weeks SLP / SLPA Responsibilities
* Provide speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals and district guidelines.

* Conduct assessments, document progress, and maintain accurate, timely records.

* Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication needs.

* Develop and implement treatment plans, therapy materials, and communication supports.

* Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development and service recommendations. Clearance Requirements
* Current state license, certification, or diploma from an accredited program, with renewals as required

* Primary source verification of license, certificate, transcripts, or education, with renewals as required

* CPR certification (online accepted for applicable roles), renewed per certificate guidelines

* Required professional training based on role and specialty, including:
* Suicide Prevention Training (all staff)

* Fingerprinting:
Washington State Patrol (WSP) and FBI; renewed every two years
* This School District will confirm clearance and notify Sunburst

* Washington State Patrol (WSP) WATCH background check

* Background check completed within 12 months prior to start (federal and state, last 7 years)

* Sex Offender Registry search within 12 months prior to start

* OIG check within 12 months prior to start
