Endoscopy Tech

Gastroenterology Associates Endoscopy Center is seeking an experienced Endoscopy Tech to join our team! At Gastroenterology Associates Endoscopy Center, we believe health and care are inseparable. We focus on offering a high quality, service oriented environment for all surgical procedures.

Job Summary:

The Endoscopy Tech functions under the direct supervision of a physician to assist with the operation of technical equipment used during simple and complex endoscopic procedures. The physician, registered nurse and the GI technician work as a team in the procedure room to provide the optimal conditions in achieving positive patient outcomes. The Endoscopy Tech is also responsible for cleaning, disinfecting and maintaining endoscopes and other instrumentation.

Other Endoscopy Tech responsibilities include facilitating patient flow, room turnover. Stocking procedure rooms, ordering supplies and performing a variety of clerical duties.

NO call required

NO Nights, NO Weekends, NO Holiday work hours

Pay Range: $25.00 - 34.00/hour, depending on experience

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ years Endoscopy Tech experience
• Must have working knowledge of standard gastroenterology procedures
• Endoscopy Tech certification is a plus
• Current CPR or BLS accredited by AHA (or will obtain within 30 days of employment)
