IT Project Manager, Cloud Computing
The Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board (WSLCB) is seeking an experienced IT Application Development - Senior/Specialist (Dev Ops Supervisor) to join our team in Olympia, WA. This position will provide leadership, strategic direction, and mentorship to our Dev Ops team and ensure the development and implementation of innovative solutions to meet the agency's technical needs.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Dev Ops, cloud computing, and software development, as well as experience leading and supervising IT professionals. The candidate should be able to demonstrate a commitment to continuous process improvement, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities will include providing direct supervision of the Dev Ops team, establishing position objectives and expectations, and ensuring that staff have the information, resources, and authority to complete assignments and meet documented expectations. The candidate will also be responsible for cultivating a learning environment, designing and supporting training and cross-training plans, and ensuring that the WSLCB remains a center of excellence.

Required Qualifications:- Seven years of recent professional experience in computer application development and infrastructure management, including at least one year of leading or supervising IT professionals.
- Progressive experience and demonstrable knowledge in areas such as Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, cloud platforms, SDLC, and Agile development methodology.
- Strong hands-on experience with major cloud platforms, Dev Ops tools, and scripting languages.
- Master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, and five years of experience in Dev Ops with three years in a lead or supervisory position.
- Working-level knowledge and recent experience designing and building native and/or hybrid mobile applications, and building web-based mapping applications using ESRI's ArcGIS API and Python scripting.
- Professional certification in one or more of the following: AWS Certified Dev Ops Engineer, Microsoft Certified Azure Dev Ops Engineer, Professional Cloud Dev Ops Engineer (Google Cloud), Certified Kubernetes Administration (CKA), or Certified Dev Ops Professional (CDP).
