Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Overview

As an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic
, you’ll combine the roles of an electrician, carpenter, plumber, and inventory manager all into one. This role is vital to keeping our wood pallet manufacturing plant operation running at the highest efficiency.

Hourly Pay: $31.00/hr.

Shift(s): 1st Shift Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm.

Lacey, WA 98516.

• Inspect wiring, make repairs, and troubleshoot all plant equipment as necessary.
• Respond urgently to all maintenance needs to ensure plant operations run smoothly.
• Completely learn existing and new equipment within the plant.
• Other projects as necessary.

• 3 years of experience handling Production Automation Equipment.
• Experience with basic plumbing, basic electrical wiring, and basic carpentry.
• Low Voltage Electrical experience required.
• Attention to detail to ensure all jobs and tasks are completed in an exemplary manner and any potential hazards or warning signs of problems are not overlooked.

Ability to work in extreme conditions including heat, cold, and air particulate. Must be able to bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for entire shifts of varying lengths in time. The noise level in the work environment is dependent on location. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (eye protection, ear protection, safety shoes).
