As a Forklift Operator, you’ll load, unload, and move wooden pallets within our plant to keep manufacturing production moving efficiently.
Hourly Pay$20.00/hr - $22.00/hr.
Shift1st Shift Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm.
Location2750 Hogum Bay Rd NE, Lacey, WA 98516.
Responsibilities- Unload deliveries of pallets and/or wood to the proper location inside the plant.
- Move freshly cut and recycled wood to the appropriate worktable area.
- Stack finished products into trailers or to storage areas up to a safe height.
- Maintain a safe working environment by lifting, stacking, and transporting materials with all other plant personnel in mind.
- 1-3 years of forklift experience.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, lumber, carpentry, welding, roofing, and/or construction strongly preferred.
- Willingness to work in a labor-intensive environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Willing to work overtime as needed.
- Ability to work in extreme conditions, including heat, cold, and air particulate.
- Repetitive lifting up to 50-75 pounds and ability to adjust body position for prolonged forklift operation.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required: eye protection, ear protection (mandatory at several locations), and safety shoes.
- Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, and color vision.
